About this piece.

'Changing Places'

Working on posing as a model is heroic! It takes character, inner strength and concentration. I am not used to being in this position, as I am a practicing artist myself, so it was interesting. The focus and concentration can make a minute seem like an hour when you are posing for the artist. I know this as an artist myself who uses models to work from.

The most important thing is to pose and sit for a practicing artist! Throughout the sitting he showed gentleness and attention and the way used his brush and knowledge to stroke away the wrinkles and at the same time enhance some hidden beauty of nature was fascinating.

In life we take so much for granted and give back so little so. If this is a way for me to contribute to the Rahula Trust in the smallest way I am happy.
